A bit of history

Harry's career began as a senior lab technician with Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel, analyzing nuclear materials for quality and isotope concentrations. He then accepted a position as Field Engineer with Baird-Atomic, Inc, installing and maintaining laboratory instruments throughout North and South America. From there, he was a founder of Spectro, Inc, a scientific instrument company located in Germany and the US, where he advanced to Vice President of Engineering. After about 10 years there, he founded his own scientific and medical instrument company, Amherst Analytical Corporation.

Harry remained president at Amherst Analytical Corp and eventually formed Nubble Services Inc to enter the emergency response and construction inspection business. Nubble Services became HMcClard LLC on relocating to North Carolina in 2014. HMcClard LLC is still an active and credentialled North Carolina Corporation.

Since 2010, Harry has been working part time as a freelance journalist and public relations consultant. He covered the New Hampshire First In The Nation Presidential Primaries for the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Presidential Elections and also covered the NH State House for all sessions during 2011 and 2012. His articles and interviews with candidates were featured locally and nationally. He is a long-time professional member of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) and he strongly supports its ethics guidelines.
